Pros

Great group of people to work with. Get to make a positive difference helping others.

Cons

24/7/365 which means being scheduled to work nights, weekends is part of the job.

Great family run business

Pros

Family owned and operated. Most everyone is hard working and really cares about the people we assist. Possibilities for advancement are based on positive attitude and skill rather than seniority.

Cons

Because its a 24/7 business, sometimes a set work schedule is not a possibility.

Dictatorship bottom line

Pros

there was not a single good thing. I had to fight for days off for doctor appointments scheduled far in advance

Cons

No set schedule changed weekly no raises worst employer ever. No matter how far in advance you had a day off needed etc you were never guaranteed a day off and you could not plan around your schedule because it changed weekly. You also have no room to move up and there is not a single raise given in 3 years

Thank you for your review. Based on your response it is likely that you were employed with Ambs while there was a union. Due to contractual obligations with unions, an employer is not able to give raises unless they are negotiated and set into writing which is a long and tedious process. As of this time we are no longer held to those restrictions. We have since then provided our employees with several raises making us a competitive paying employer. Our agents are also able to earn a bonus up to $3.00/hr if they meet quality and attendance metrics.
