Pros

If you want to work 120 hours a week you can make money anything less than that forget it

Cons

This company changed their name they are American Dream home improvement have been sued by multiple states for defrauding homeowners and that’s exactly what they do. They stiff the homeowners and their employees and there’s a soon to be class action lawsuit against them from former employees. They talk about a free truck and trips and they charge you they charge you for your uniforms that you have to have, their pay per job is a joke, they praise their training program which is ran by a former science teacher, and the owner takes all the profit to buy all of his 20+ exotic cars

Pros

You get a job and a company vehicle if youre in sales.

Cons

Remember the bullies in high school that were kind of dumb but had rich parents? Now imagine those people as your managers. That's what this job will be like. They hide behind a patriotic theme (serving war veterans, etc...) but in reality are a deranged group of non-diverse people who are someway related to the owner. The salesmen are trained to get a job no matter what circumstances. Yes, that means forging signatures and placing roofs over homeowners who are not aware of the job. You think I'm joking? Just google it. They changed their name for a reason. There's only a few women in leadership roles in this company, oh and yeah they have the same last name as the owner. Most positive reviews are either forced or bought. I literally overheard a discussion from top level management to buy / forge Glassdoor & Google reviews. I mean if you're going to forge contracts, you might as well forge glassdoor reviews, I guess is their logic.

Pros

Non that come to mind

Cons

Door to door “sales”, 1099 independent sales rep job, no benefits, “you get a truck” that can’t be used for more than 40 miles of personal use a week, make you pay for gas without reimbursement, make you buy your own uniform. Commissions are 10% of the homeowners insurance claim checks. Those checks usually come in two stages first check and supplemental check. Company won’t pay you until they get the second check and the jobs complete if at all. The only reason I was able to get paid was because I took pictures and documented the jobs I closed, gave the documentation to HR, then had a lawyer serve them papers, settled for the exact amount I was owed plus legal fees. If it hadn’t been for that I’d still be fighting for back paychecks

We regret to see that this position did not work out for you. We have a fantastic team of dedicated employees who are the lifeblood of our organization. We understand that this position is not for everyone, which seems to be the understanding in this case. All of our employees are W2 employee's, we do NOT hire anyone as a 1099 independent sales representative. You may be confusing us with another company you worked for, for a short period of time? Along with being a W2 employee, all employees are eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401k package. To state there are no benefits with the position, is grossly misleading. Anyone who has any questions regarding benefits has full access to contact our HR Team. AmeriPro offers one so the most competitive pay structures in the roofing industry. Our pay system pays our team for the money and work that is being turned in, as it happens. While the insurance industry does pay in multiple payments, as a representative you will be paid as you turn things in, not once the job is paid in full. AmeriPro is an established leader in the industry and has been assisting homeowners for nearly 20 years. We would not have been able to achieve this without the awesome team and by running a business with honesty and integrity.
