Pros

I mean the salary was fine.

Cons

- The company is 10 years behind on the technology front. I seriously reconsidered my decision to join when I saw the equipment they were providing me. - Work life balance is absolute garbage. AAS does not believe in time away from work. You won't even start accumulating PTO time until after 3 months. People coming back from vacation were treated poorly by management. They were made to feel like they had done something wrong. - I tested positive with Covid and was expected to continue work as usual. I was explicitly told that I was not allowed to die until my project was complete. -If they hire you to work remotely you need to be aware that if you are within 50 miles of the office you will be expected to start coming in. They will not be upfront in their communications about this. - Let's be honest, they essentially sell extended warranties for vehicles. The company matches the reputation of this type of position. You will not feel any sense achievement or feel like you are making a difference working for this company. - Several members of the management team are seriously incompetent. The manager of the Salesforce team is incapable of holding a technical conversation. He asked us to be dishonest on an employee survey to make the company look better.

Pros

Health benefits are excellent, plenty of PTO, sick time (that you’re discouraged to use but it’s there), company contribution to HSA and 401k, remote work for everyone who isn’t in Colorado or Missouri

Cons

The company has been eliminating or drastically downsizing on all non customer facing departments including but not limited to: quality assurance, legal, HR, training, ETC. They have put unrealistic expectations on supervisors and team leads as all departments eliminated roles are expected to be handled by your immediate supervisor. They allow people to leave early when phones are busy (letting 5 people leave early when there are only 5 idle employees) and then get mad when adjusters can’t get their work done. They don’t believe in giving raises, only bonuses but you have to earn the bonus and it’s almost impossible to earn (example if you’re on a call and can’t take your break on time they take money out of your bonus and if you clock out late because you’re on a call they dock your bonus). Speaking with supervisors does nothing because they’re so busy they don’t have time to listen and there’s no HR to complain to because they got rid of that department.

Pros

Pay rate and some of the colleagues.

Cons

Too many incompetent people put in positions, and if you suggest things it's looked at like you're trying to be a know it all. A bullying atmosphere if you come in knowing really how to do the work and come from outside of the organization. HR works with leaders and do fake investigation with no results. Incompetence across the board and if you're a minority and smart you will be subjected to systemic racism.
