• Horrible contracts. 95% of their contracts are Ralphs, Food 4 Less, and 99 Cent stores • Low pay 9$-10$ a hour, doesn’t matter how much experience or credentials you have and no sick pay or vacation • Time off request have to be made at least 2 weeks prior to the days you need off but I would recommend you do it at least a month prior. • You get paid bi-weekly and your checks get mailed. They DO NOT have direct deposit. Who doesn’t have direct deposit in 2014...a cheap company like AGS. • You don’t get paid for new hire orientation which is illegal • The people in the office are so incompetent. Nobody knows what is going on. You go to the office to talk to someone and all you get is hour+ long waits just to talk through the receptionist. Nobody wants to do their jobs and talk to the employees directly. They don’t keep track of anything. Want to change your post or schedule they will lie and say nothing is available yet they are always hiring new people. SAVE AND MAKE COPIES OF EVERYTHING. They will lose your papers or lie and say they never received it. • You have to pay for your uniforms. They take out $20 a check for your uniforms • The benefits suck. Decline the crappy insurance and get Obamacare • ZERO chance for promotion and moving to better posts so pick your first post and schedule wisely

The only cons I have seen is somtimes you get a security guard who does not want to work and all they do is complain about standing or patrolling etc this is our job as a security guard, I hate working with lazy security guards but the good news is when management finds out they quickly fire those lazy guards, you can see some of those lazy guards complaints on this site they write a bad review after they get fired for messing up!
