I have management experience with Fortune 500 companies and have been involved with small business on the ground floor. The most important ingredient for success regardless of the business size is PROPER LEADERSHIP. American Smart Home is currently led by an extremely proactive visionary and a leadership team that believes in overachieving. An excellent opportunity to grow with an organization focused on changing lives and an industry.
Cons
This company requires that you be driven. Expect to be supported in a collaborative manner, not spoon fed. Tools for success provided, drive and a desire to succeed required.

I worked right under the CEO so I was one of the first to see everything mold into what it is now. I loved the rapid change, constant work, travel, Exec meetings. Everything was built on making more progress, that's one thing the company doesn't stand for, mediocrity. Very social environment. Real people with real personality. CEO didn't like boring "Robots" in the office. He had a great sense of humor and personality and that's what the company thrives on, so it definitely was full of personality.
Cons
Be prepared to work. It's a work hard, play hard mentality. Don't expect things to be handed to you. CEO got this far self taught, you should be able to soar even past him especially since you're getting on hands training...FROM HIM!
