Salary is paid Straight time OT so there's an opportunity to greatly increase your base salary.

Cons

Upper management is a bunch of 'cave men' who don't listen. There isn't any diversity in leadership--Caucasian males only! Plant is micromanaged from refinery manager down. Decisions are made at the spur of the moment without any consideration of the effects. Morale among the hourly folks is low and nothing being done about it. Facilities haven't been upgraded in forever. Everything is old and very out of date. My advice--Stay away unless you don't have any other options.

Cons

Where do i start? Its contract time and when a supervisor is in favor of a strike, well that's bad. The union supports laziness. Severely under staffed and the pay scales will NOT attract skilled craftsmen.
