Pros

Product is amazing, customers who adopt are successful & renew But so so many don’t….

Cons

Company is trying to run before it can walk Immature / inexperienced management Disorganised & incompetent support framework Lacks regional support & nuanced GTM approach It’s a revolving door of people like I’ve never seen!! So much churn, all levels, constant flip flopping in strategy, people, direction No HR support or focus on any employees outside of USA So much customer churn!! It’s unbelievable.

Pros

Good work/life balance, great funding/runway/security, high bar for Engineering employee quality.

Cons

Strategy seems to be decided by people with no experience in trying to build what they want Amplitude to become. Too few people with domain knowledge make too many big decisions. There are very few people with the actual background and knowledge to build something that will provide focused value. The founders and executives don't have the DNA to make what they think they are making. It's a lack of culture. Everything feels really disconnected, which makes it hard to focus long-term and invest yourself. Also, did you even think about how cringe worthy a lecture about racism was coming from white employees?
