Pros

Excellent campus. Beautiful nature. A lot of good students and people around you

Cons

1. Lots of workload. No time at all given for research. The policy is 8 AM-5 PM is for teaching and 5 PM-8AM is for research. No one can do good research in that way. They look for quantity and not for quality. As long as they get scopus indexed publications, any junk is fine for them. 2. Once you join, do not expect any growth except growth in workload. Too much administrative workload. Faculties are treated as slaves. 3. No financial growth. Do not expect what is promised in the offer letter to be actually be given. They will find ways to reduce or get it back from you. For example, every year, you will be asked for voluntary contribution for the Chancellor visit to Coimbatore. If not give there is a high chance that someone will ask you reasons. 4. Do not expect quality students for PhD. If you supervise them, good luck. You have to do a lot more admin and technical work for them in addition to your work. 5. Zero work-life balance. Almost all Saturdays are working. If you want to be genuine and committed to students, you have to put a lot of extra work outside of your official working hours. 6. In the name of Corona, they cut salaries of employees by 50%. That too very delayed. No proper communication on this matter. They claim trust as a value. But they do not trust their own employees. Employees need to prove that they have worked for online classes and assessments and then only this 50% will come. Poor attendants and such contract workers are asked to go for leave without pay. Extremely bad way of handling the situation. Remember, they have collected all fees from students last year for a year. With almost nobody in campus, they have negligible cost for electricity, food, water etc. With this I see no reason for them to cut salary of people who gave their lifetime for this university. 7. In Amma's name, anything can happen. Some of the faculties will skip their leadership to next level for some issues which is very bad in terms of ethics. 8. I have lost trust on NRIF ranking also because, this university secured 4th rank in 2020, but it doesn't deserve anything.

Pros

*Salary structure is real good compared to other private engineering colleges *Co-workers are really good and helpful ( well except few that we can find everywhere) *Good support and encouragement for your career growth

Cons

*No proper increment or appraisal system. A new fresh recruit from college ends up earning almost as you with more years of experience. *Employees who work hard are made to slog, those who hardly work walk about carefree.
