      Don't Be a Manager/Exec If You Actually Want to Be Allowed to Do The Job You Were Hired For

      Pros

      Great space within healthcare. Telehealth has finally come of age. Working staff within Amwell is great and hardworking. Innovative technology platform

      Cons

      A good share of the technology is not fully functional or aspirational. They pay well for middle and senior management but don't allow for much, if any, autonomy or to bring in fresh ideas and innovation. Frustrating to not be able to do what you were hired for. I heard this quite a bit from my colleagues there as well in addition to recruiters who are very well aware of Amwell's reputation out in the market. Oh and it gets interesting when the two CEO brothers don't even get along. Causes a lot of downstream turbulence

      Modern and beautiful office Events for employees

      Cons

      I was hired for a position and it was finally quite different from what I had been told. I had poor communication with my manager. at natixis you often hear about mobility. I applied internally and it was my manager’s excuse to kick me out. human resources knew all of this but they did nothing to try to understand.
