Lack of involved management. Most management are rarely on site which is allowed by the CEO. Very few managers know what is going on in their department. The CEO lives in CA and has said he doesn’t even know what the company does anymore. They were recently bought out and promised no changes yet many things have changed such as insurance policies and other benefits. Also had lay offs which they said would not happen. Lack of integrity. They talk about transparency a lot however they lie to their costumers and employees. The website states staff are GMP and GLP certified they are not. They also say they do not like gossip but upper management does the most gossiping and believes the gossip instead of speaking to people about the truth. Stay clear of giving feedback when asked for it will backfire against you. They have been working on career ladders since before my 3.5 years at abs. They will gaslight you by saying they are working on them. We had an entire project about them and stopped right before they actually made them. They tried to rush them out due to complaints but again this was just a false narrative. They also do not care how you are treated. They allow sexual harassment to go on without consequence. They gave the harasser “rules” then allowed him to constantly still speak to myself and the other person involved. There is no real HR department to protect employees the bottom line is whatever the CEO decides.

Poor management. No career growth. You’re a blue collar in a white collar man’s world. “Scientist” is another term for technician & they’ll hire anyone, and I mean ANYONE, that can do the job. I’m sure they would hire someone off the street, but, it wouldn’t look great to their clients. They’ll reward bad behavior and keep trashy, toxic, envious and cliquey bullies around longer than necessary. Be aware!
