You are free to work autonomously. Anedot has a culture of fast-learning, self-starting, and helping each other -- no micromanagement here. Love that the team (at least engineering) embraces a mantra of egoless programming. Largely I think we all want to "get it right" but don't need to be individually "right." Fully remote is great and the company has been remote-first for more than 10 years so no awkward half-in / half-out of office type situation. The company is product driven and not driven by sales people telling us what to do which allows us to flex on product side to help best solve problems from an engineering standpoint longterm rather than being driven by quick sales metrics. Feels like a family - people are straight-forward and brutally honest in most cases (some may see that as bad... ha), but it is great that most of the team likes to move fast and ship code. Very loyal team with a lot of people who have been here for 5+ years. The work feels meaningful. This team is definitely not for everyone, but if a good fit - this is a place to grow and stick around. Team is scaling to 50-100 people over the next year or two.
