Pros

Free food and catering, working holidays like Christmas Eve/Juneteenth/others...if you like avoiding your family.

Cons

Cons - So much I could say. They only really hire TJH hires, I was one of them. I believe they do this because they don't have the infrastructure or training mechanisms like TJH does, so they use this as an easy way to profit off of how much TJH pours in to training their employees. When you work here and you want to leave, it is rough. Many stories of the youngest partner in particular having a vendetta to find out whether you have applied to another law firm or submitted your resume, to tell upper management. Recruiters telling you to get in line behind all of the other Reyes employees who are trying to get out. But getting out is better than the alternative of staying. People feel stuck, afraid, and bullied. So many people just want out. They are turning in to another TJH with micro-managing as their primary goal while only 5 of them out of the 600 + employees just reap all the profit of the 0 work life balance employees face every single day... They act like TJH is their competitor and they are above them, but they seem to be doing everything they can to become TJH, and that is so ironic to me...

Don't Work Here

Pros

My former colleagues were great

Cons

The workload was unbearable. Most lawyers had north of 600 cases on their respective dockets from case sign up to final disbursement. The workload weighs down everyone, paralegal and lawyer alike. There's no possible way to keep up with everything they put on your plate, even if you were to work 14 hours a day 7 days per week. You barely have a life outside of work at this place if you simply want to stay afloat. In other words, they work you as though you were a partner - but they won't pay you even close to what they pay the partners. The business is run to profit those at the top only. Clients are often unsatisfied because paralegals are trained to keep them away from the lawyers - so lawyers can be mediating and otherwise settling other cases (bringing in the money). Lawyers and their paralegals are constantly demoralized with the workload. Only a handful of people were willing to speak out about the workload, but when they did, their concerns fell on the deaf ears at the top.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take concerns regarding employee experience, workload management, and client service seriously and continuously evaluate how we support both our team members and our clients. Over the past several years, we have intentionally built an operating model that provides attorneys with multiple times the support resources typically available in traditional law firms through dedicated case support, technology, training, and specialized operational teams. Our objective is simple: allow attorneys to focus more of their time on legal work, client advocacy, and maximizing outcomes rather than administrative burden. We also recognize that our environment is not the right fit for every professional. We operate with ambitious standards and high expectations because our clients come to us during some of the most difficult moments of their lives and expect responsiveness, urgency, and results. We are proud that our workplace and culture have been recognized repeatedly as a Great Place to Work and through recognition in local, regional, and national publications. At the same time, we know no organization is perfect and we continue investing in improvements each year. We appreciate your time with the firm and wish you success in your future endeavors.

Pros

No pros come to mind.

Cons

Revolving door. Do not work here if you want to preserve any semblance of your career. They will overload you on case load to the point where your duty to your clients is jeopardized. They will try to make you think they are the best - they are not. All the partners care about is making their multi-millions at the end of the year, while acting like they don't make a lot. Deceitful people. They do not care about you, your family, or your well-being. My advice to anyone working here or thinking about working here is RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN, don't walk, and never look back. All of the positive reviews on here are staff members, as they treat staff 100 times better than their attorneys, who are a dime a dozen to them (just look at the job titles in all the positive reviews).
