Growing CPA firm comprised of young, knowledgable and enthusiastic people. Executive leadership has a good vision for the future with deep roots in the community. They are working through the cons listed below.
Cons
Growing pains are evident. No longer a small family size group of employees their biggest challenge is adapting and changing their style to fit their new size. In general, expectations and policies seem inconsistent and not communicated well. This leads to misunderstanding and loss of trust. At times there is a reluctance to take necessary action or possibly confusion about the decision making process because of uncertainty about who is responsible for what.

The culture is genuinely supportive and collaborative. I met lifelong friends here.
I was lucky to have a mentor who genuinely cared about my growth—professionally and personally. That kind of leadership is rare, and it set the tone for the kind of culture Anglin had at its best.
I was trusted to do my job and given the autonomy to deliver results without micromanagement.
Most colleagues are down-to-earth, easy to work with, and truly care about their work.
I spent seven years at Anglin and genuinely cherished the people and relationships I built during that time.
The team is the company’s greatest asset—smart, kind, and always willing to lend a hand.
Decent benefits, work-life balance, and private offices rather than cubicles for most.
Cons
Like anywhere, there are a few difficult personalities, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Policies could have been more consistent and better communicated across departments.
After-hours help was often expected, without a clear boundary or defined policy in place.
It was tough to fully unplug during vacations—I often found myself checking in or resolving issues on weekdays.
