A completely backward bunch of idiots.

Pros

the pension plan is generous. The new(ish) President may steer the company in a positive direction, if he's willing to cut some dead weight. So far, no major changes to some very backward business practices.

Cons

the office culture is depressing, it looks like the 1950's. Some of the "leadership" is also stuck in the 50's. Questionable practices - lots of secrecy from the staff. No trust.

Operations Managers and Directors are providing a lot of work related stress daily. Not much support for employee for growth to next level, only if higher level position vacant because that employee left the company, Always find something to complain to not give proper salary. It all about business and company profit.

So much turnover due to underpaid and overworked staff, so more positions are available regularly.

Cons

Racism and sexism are rampant. The boys club is alive and well, so I can see the women aren't respected there nearly as much as the men. HR and management defends it at every turn. If you're a woman turn back. They play nice at first until something happens, which is when you find out HR is actually just there to protect human rights violations. Even the management staff blatantly flirt with workers without being held accountable.
