Pros

Apart from the old office setup and some of the earlier sales development and sales leadership, it’s difficult to find positives in this organization. There’s a noticeable culture of negativity that cuts across teams—from HR all the way up to the CEO. Instead of alignment and accountability, the environment feels fragmented, with low morale and limited trust in leadership decisions. For new SDRs, especially those considering hybrid or remote roles, this is not the right place. The support systems, communication, and overall structure simply aren’t set up for success in those environments. Overall, unless there are significant changes at the leadership and cultural level, it’s hard to recommend this organization.

Cons

HR may appear to listen to employee concerns, but that’s where it ends—there’s little to no meaningful action or follow-through. Compensation is a major issue. There are no hikes, no real perks, and the worst part is inconsistent salary and commission payouts. For a sales organization, delaying or mishandling earnings is unacceptable and creates constant stress for the team. There’s also a clear lack of ownership across teams. Sales and marketing are misaligned, with constant blame-shifting instead of collaboration. There’s no strong focus on quality pipeline or product-led growth—efforts seem limited to low-intent users (like Gmail or .edu signups), which don’t convert into real business. When targets aren’t met, accountability is replaced with finger-pointing. To make matters worse, compensation structures feel unreliable. From perks to bonuses to commissions, there’s a recurring pattern of overpromising and underdelivering. What’s communicated upfront often doesn’t match what employees actually receive. Overall, the environment lacks trust, structure, and accountability—especially for anyone in a revenue role.

Pros

Not Applicable None Zero NIL

Cons

Workplace meant for freshers only. Experienced folks stay away from Animaker. Heavy Tamil speaking culture even in everyday meetings. CEO is close only with initial employees who joined him at founding stage. CEO supports growth only a select few employees who had been with him 2016-2017 stage of the company. Very rude and rough n tuff way of handling other employees who are not CEOs inner circle. Heavy back stabbing culture.
