Pros
Spending the day working together to help maintain the health of animals has to be top pro. The next I would say, is the nursing a sick animal back to health. Nothing beats the satisfaction of knowing you helped to do that. Lastly I'd have to say watching our younger patients grow up through the years. You can't help but get attached to your patients; therefore it they become like an extension of your own furry family. The things you learn along the way is also another huge plus. The personal manager is the BOMB! She's why most employees love working there. She is very flexible with the schedule.
Cons
LONG unpredictable hours. The pay is nowhere close to what you deserve for what we do. Its also HELL on your back and you'll eventually get bit. Everyone who knows what you do for a living will call you when their own personal animal sneezes funny. You work mostly with other women, so there always tends to be drama in the work place. It never fails, you (if you have a work ethic) you'll be the one running around to get everything done. Lastly of course is Euthanasia, its hard to get use to but you soon learn to respect it.
