Pros

* Low level colleagues are talented and motivated * Hybrid working

Cons

* Managerial incompetence. Many mid-level managers are technically inept but good at playing political games and the high-level managers just talk a big game but never walk the talk. * Culture of one-upmanship and being called out for every mistake you make. This leads to a lack of trust between colleagues. * Demanding clients. Sometimes you can only do so much with the data you have. * For the amount work and stress involved, the pay is not worth it. * Consequently, there is a high turnover rate.

Pros

Good tool experience - remote work opportunities - big clients

Cons

Turnover is high, good people are leaving - very political workplace where work is less important than who you know (bc of low management experience)- managers are learning on the job and some lack technical skills to lead teams

Pros

If you happen to know someone within the company, you'll find that it offers excellent prospects for a salary increase and career advancement by recognizing the importance of promotion.

Cons

I feel compelled to share my thoughts to warn others about the toxic culture, inadequate salary, and unsupportive management that pervades this company. First and foremost, the culture is nothing short of toxic. Instead of fostering collaboration and encouraging open communication, the company seems to thrive on internal politics and a cutthroat atmosphere. It is disheartening to witness employees constantly competing against each other rather than working together towards a common goal. Furthermore, the salary offered is disappointingly low. The remuneration provided does not align with the industry standards or the responsibilities shouldered by employees. Despite demonstrating dedication, the compensation package is far from satisfactory. This not only demoralizes the workforce but also makes it difficult to make ends meet, leading to a general sense of dissatisfaction and discontent among employees. Perhaps even more disheartening is the lack of support for professional growth within the company. Managers seem indifferent to the career development and instead of providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for growth, they are more concerned with their own personal agendas. This lack of support stifles employees' ambition and enthusiasm, leaving them feeling stagnant and unfulfilled in their roles. In summary, anyone considering joining Annalect to think twice. The toxic culture, low salary, and lack of growth opportunities make it an undesirable workplace. There are far better companies out there that value their employees, foster a positive work environment, and invest in their professional growth.
