Pros

pretty laid back environment. constantly give our free stuff from customer samples.

Cons

salary are much lower that industrial standard. Management have no power and authority over each other. The president makes every single decision including buying chemicals. Managers in the chromatography section are unbelievable unprofessional and under-educated. You can't expect to learn anything except following the same procedure 365 days. People are hard to approach and talk to unless you kiss their butt all day.

To whom it may concern, Thank you for the feedback. Though we don't agree with much of what you said, we will take your complaints into account. For future job seekers, there are a few misstatements we'd like to clear up: 1) Management is not overly invasive, in fact the opposite is probably true. Each laboratory section (5 in total) is given almost complete autonomy over their operations, from how they divvy up work to who they hire to, yes, what reagents to purchase. The president does not buy "chemicals" or any other materials for the laboratory. 2) Our chromatography staff are some of the most experienced and knowledgeable in the world. We employ 4 people with over 10 years of experience in GC/LC, 2 of which have over 25 years of experience. While workflow in some parts of the laboratory can be repetitive at times (inherent to the analytical service industry), this is not the case for the majority of our chemists in our GC or LC sections who are constantly developing/improving methods, working directly with food/produce/cannabis manufacturers, and purchasing/operating new instrumentation. To the person who wrote the review, I hope your take on the company has improved. To everyone else, I hope you'll give us a shot and evaluate the company for yourself. Sincerely, Management
