Awesome Experience

Pros

Had a great time learning how to manage and plan for all kinds of crazy events. Great for college internship and management experience in general.

Cons

At some points the nature of the work requires going the extra mile and working later than conventional hours, but this was always totally optional. Besides that, none!

Pros

There weren't really many great things... probably the only good thing was that a lot of the work can be done remotely. They advertised something that was totally different than what the internship actually was, and gave way too many assignments for an unpaid internship.

Cons

Going off of what started in the pros section, they originally told me that since the internship was unpaid, they would be totally fine with my having a part time job. This was not the case. I asked them for dates they needed me, and they said they would basically work around my work hours. Then, upon giving them my work hours, they told me that this was unacceptable, and basically asked me to devote my entire summer to an unpaid internship.
