      Great people, but unsustainable for most

      Pros

      Leadership and established employees are fantastic. They lead by example, are extremely knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. As a strong contributor, I felt more than adequately compensated and recognized. They are actively pushing people to make efforts to move up if they see potential, but will not force it if the employee doesn't show effort.

      Cons

      Incredibly tough business and the standard set by leadership is impressive, but unsustainable. Loved working with the partners, but their hours and work-life balance steered me right out of the company. High-performers can do extremely well here, but basically no one had the desire to become a partner because of the expectations that came with it. As the company grew, there was a noticeable shift towards more a more public accounting feel. Hours became paramount and the key contributors were run into the ground.

      Pros

      Collaborative culture with supportive teammates. Most leaders seem to truly want to continue evolving the company while taking care of employees during growth. The company feels very stable, even adding new headcount in otherwise unsteady economic times, which is a big positive. Benefits are solid: MDV, 401k contribution, holidays, and support for continued professional growth in accounting.

      Cons

      Some growing pains while figuring out best in office schedules, but seem to be open to figuring out what’s best for the teams.
