Pros

Most coworkers are task-oriented and exceptional workers.

Cons

Things that are weird: Part of your raise depends on outside volunteer work. Why? There isn't time for that with the long shifts and family time. Raises are about even with cost of living increases so your progress within the company monetarily doesn't move much. Not as much paid time off accrued as other agencies. Your portion of health and dental insurance is more expensive than other companies.

Pros

Great pay (for medics, sorry EMTs), paid training even for part-time staff, some calls are interesting. Direct field supervisors are pretty solid. The trucks are *mostly* parked inside buildings, so no cold/hot day set-ups. Very inclusive employer, promotes diversity. Opportunities are presented internally for promotion (field supervisors, trainers, management) and tend to be given fairly.

Cons

It's private IFT, don't expect most days to be exciting. You will status-post, meaning long hours sat in a cramped truck. The ambulances are van-bulances, not a lot of room to move around and the par levels of equipment is always fluctuating. The Colorado Springs operation is the red-headed step child to the Denver Ops, don't expect to be treated the same. Management is a bit out of touch, though they try to bridge that gap. They will make random changes for no particular reason and not give explanations for it until there is backlash. The CEO tends to be a ghost unless an event is happening. Can't speak for benefits since part-timers don't get them, but I've heard they're not great.
