Pros

Growing company, always something to work on, get along with coworkers

Cons

Some pettiness can happen in the office; owners of company do not care about their employees, we are over worked and under paid. Benefits could be 100% better, and better/more lenient vacation/PTO can be given. Office rules are extremely strict and ran like a labor camp (practically). Basically... zero fun is encouraged. No room to move up.

Pros

I loved my clinic manager. She was super supportive and flexible.

Cons

No support from the owner or corporate. It took forever to get equipment purchases approved from the owner.

Pros

The expectation for a physical therapist is to see an average of 12 patients per day in an 8-hour day. Patients are scheduled in 30-minute blocks and expected time spent with them is 60-75 minutes. Evaluations are in 1-hour blocks. Modalities are used to help with patient comfort, recovery, and activity participation. Diverse billing is important to demonstrate quality clinical evidenced-based practice techniques and patient progress toward their goals. They do offer continuing education financial aid. They are open to variable schedule (half days, long days, etc. to allow for work-life balance). They match 401k contributions and offer insurance for full time employees. The owners and several other corporate home base colleagues come out to visit the clinics and we do happy hour to catch up on things and enjoy each others' company. My region has monthly clinical updates where all the therapists get together to discuss a topic of interest, or someone presents an educational piece that they excel in, etc. They do provide lunch. They encourage employee appreciation, whether it's lunches, coffee, or something of the like. They celebrate the holidays within the clinic to make it a fun place for the employees and patients. They offer Hulu in the clinics as well.

Cons

Sometimes it's hard to hire on help so it has been busy in the past, but that's a matter of partially being the state of the economy. Also, I prefer not to have metrics on modalities, but I do see the benefit of them for the patients.
