Pros

Working alone in an office. They are not physically there to micro-manage you.

Cons

They cross the line often regarding lack of respect for their employees. They tried to have employees sign birthday and other types of cards that are against persons religion. Went as far as saying maybe they should look for another job.

Pros

I've worked for ApexCare as a Care Partner and now a Care Manager, I've loved every single minute of my time here. Pros as a Care Partner include weekly pay, an understanding, professional, and dedicated management team, the ability to train in areas where assistance is needed, flexibility in scheduling, competitive pay, and the support to become a more well-rounded professional Care Partner.

Cons

After reading some of the cons in other reviews here, I have to say that my experience has varied significantly from other employees. Being a caregiver means agreeing to a potentially volatile schedule. Hours do fluctuate because of the kind of work we do. However, I established myself as extremely reliable from day one and never called off so I was easily able to maintain the hours I needed to survive. If you frequently miss work, are late, or otherwise can't be counted on, then you won't be first in line for work. Taking responsibility for yourself and making sure you are the go-to person for shift coverage will result in the hours you need.
