Late 2025: Acquisition! Run away!

Pros

We had a fantastic benefits package: healthcare 100% paid. Starting January 2026, this is no longer the case.

Cons

Starting in January, we will pay $340 (for individuals; $1100 for families) for monthly premiums, a lower 401K match, and fewer bonus opportunities. Salaries were low for the market with the understanding that benefits would make up for it, but this is no longer the case. In fact, they implied salaries could be lowered further due to an acquisition by CSI, based in Kentucky, with lower pay across the board. Executives are likely about to step away and we will fully join CSI in the next few weeks. We have been repeatedly squeezed over the past several months because more and more people are quitting and they are not hiring backfills. This used to be a top tier company, and now I can't escape fast enough.
