Pros

- Flexible hours under most teams/managers/roles - 100% remote organization - HR team is great - Good tools (Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, Mac devices standard, Salesforce, etc.) - Great engineers

Cons

- Comp is generally below market rates - Executive leadership is generally poor (distant, two-faced, apathetic, etc.) outside the engineering/dev team - Increasingly political organization - Most technical roles are being near-shored to Canada (Vancouver specifically) - Org claims to be people first but don't expect communication about under-performance before termination - high turnover, especially within Marketing (3+ leaders in 3 years) - rebranded to a very generic name (Velora) - few team-building events if not a part of leadership (leadership meets in person once a quarter, while anyone below director level has not had a whole-company, in-person event since the acquisitions)

Pros

* You can build a lot of features from 0 * Has room for career growth * Decent pay

Cons

* Working culture is very conservative, hard to change a decision. * A lot of decision based on preference, not actual pros-cons evaluation * Code base was written long time ago and rewriting it all to new microservices is extremely challenging under circumstances where you are quite limited to impact decisions and progress
