      All the micromanagement you want

      Good pay and benefits. Good number of paid holidays as well

      Cons

      The level of micromanagement is out of control. You almost need a hall pass to use the bathroom. Schedules have limited ability to flex.

      Working For Our Men and Women In Uniform

      Pros

      Apogee is a medium size engineering firm supporting mostly DoD contracts. Employees have direct access to senior management and a well staffed HR department. Benefits are explained and when employees have questions responses are timely. The company pays for a yearly retreat in CO in order to bring all employees working at different locations together for socializing and to provide a yearly business review. The company pays well based on experience. It has been an honor to work for and with them, for our men and women in uniform, and the defense of our nation. Don't be confused by the positive tone of this review: this information comes from an engineer who has worked for the company and not from a marketing or human resources source.

      Cons

      Having worked for the large defense companies as well as other engineering service companies I have no cons that are salient. As with all employment arrangements there are always things that can be done better but none worthy of note with respect to Apogee Engineering LLC in this review.
