Pros

+ No micromanagement (in engineering) + Friendly Co-workers

Cons

- Business model prioritizes selling service contracts for products designed and manufactured by 3rd parties rather than developing their own products - No cafeteria or common areas - Only 2 weeks PTO - Low pay relative to region/field - Upper management are indecisive and frequently provide conflicting input regarding project direction Since Luminator acquired Apollo: - Very few hires to replace high turnover rate of engineers - Long stretches with no projects to work on - Outsourcing an increasing volume of work to offshore and 3rd party engineering teams - No more yearly bonuses

Pros

The software team has access to whatever tools or technologies we need to create new products. The company is growing both in terms of size and revenue; we're #1 in our market and increasing that lead. Employees are engaged and interested and new products and ideas pop up almost quarterly.

Cons

Space isn't efficiently allocated- the building does double duty as office space and assembly floor. Plenty of parking though :) The space is a bit drab also. Pay is...average, but benefits are good.
