The culture is terrible. If you are in Taiwan you will have a great big office, local support, free snacks, big parties, local PR, team culture, holiday gifts. If you are outside Taiwan like me, you have nothing. You work alone, work from home, no office, no team culture, no support. Manager doesn’t care about you. In the Taiwanese holidays, there is no support and you cannot get any help. Even if no holiday in my country. HQ make decisions for my local office and they do not understand my culture, and don’t trust outsiders. it’s the same in every country outside Taiwan because my other colleagues complain the same every day. This is why appier only have 2-3 people each country because HQ do not trust. HR make a survey to check the employee satisfaction, however the survey responses were fixed choices which manipulate the employee to choose favourable answers to make the company look good. There were no survey options available to reflect actual feedback. HR should make a survey to collect honest opinions and allow people to write their own comments, but the company culture is don’t care about this because HQ make every decision. They should trust local office, otherwise we never have success
