Company is run as a dictatorship by the CEO. There is absolutely no sense of team at this company, it's every employee for themselves and employees are always looking for an opportunity to back stab other employees to earn brownie points from the CEO. The turnover rate of employees is huge, for reasons above and:
Changing comp plans yearly to benefit the company.
Dictating unrealistic sales goals to prevent paying commissions.
Company has a bad reputation in the industry.
If you actually get a new client they don't return because of poorly executed events and non-transparent billing practices.
Belittling of employees by rude management.
Well below industry standard salaries propped up by unobtainable, complicated commission structure.
Any good leads that come in are picked through and taken by management.
My advice, if you want to be a telemarketer spending 8 hours a day cold calling bad leads, having your job threatened weekly by management for not meeting unrealistic goals, this company is for you. If you want to be an actual Account Executive, trust me look elsewhere, there's a whole world of respectable trade show companies out there!
