Once great, now a wasteland because leadership won't share sacrfice

Very nice work-life balance Generally friendly people Heavy focus on safety (at least in the past) Most people at the mines are very nice and hardworking

Cons

Ever since the stock started to fall management has been cutting people while keeping record high salaries for themselves. CEO makes more than everyone he has laid off combined and still pretends we are suffering together. The place is SO sad to work in now, everyone waiting for the next layoff.

Should embrace more working from home. Coal market is tough right now so not a lot of hiring or monetary advancement.
