Pros

I worked as a subcontractor. To be honest i never in my life thought that there may be such a disorganization. People in charge with no knowledge at all, the level of english -lacking, Very rude and very aggressive. No communication at all. The labourers re treat as a slaves( break when the supervisor wants) 47 pounds per day after tax(demolition). Most of the supervisors just with the SSSTS(no knowledge at all and english very very poor.(i cannot understand how you can become a supervisor and pass an exam with no language at all). Most of them with serious behaviour problems.

Cons

-no education - no communication - people with serious behaviour problems - poor english language And we specified on the website we offer training, we help our staff, we invest in people?? Where they re??

Pros

They know how to build unlike most other main contractors Pay is good, generally

Cons

Bad reputation, hard to find subbies/ staff Projects are ran pretty lean Like almost any other construction firm apart from the Skanska's of the world, they don't really care about their people. You go to do a job, do your job and home to collect your pay cheque. Just understand this how 95% of construction firms work, however they 'sell it'. As soon as the market drops, theirs no opportunities for the business to moneytize you, they get rid. They won't pay you for 3 months to keep you employed Health and safety not the best, but not the worst

Pros

Worked here as a graduate for 3 years and learnt so much working with a good hardworking and focused team on various developments on Greenwich Peninsula. Would recommend for anybody with a strong work ethic and looking for a a challenging environment which will really benefit your career and enhance your development within the industry.

Cons

Not many downsides working at Ardmore unless you are looking to work somewhere where you can hide behind a desk watching the clock, most of your days will be busy And your days will go by very fast.
