Awful company. Psycho CEO who is micromanaging everything and everyone. Avoid all all costs. Only accept if desperate

Pros

- Ability to work from home. - Exposure to different sectors and businesses. - The product has very useful functionality built-into it.

Cons

Not sure where to start really. -The boss reads every single email that hits anyone's inbox and often responds without your knowledge, a good example of serious breach of privacy in every state! - The CEO looses the plot everyday and swears like there is no tomorrow calling everyone an idiot among other unsavory names, that includes all field engineers, account managers, developers and of course the customers. - No job security at all. - No career advancement opportunity whatsoever. - The CEO has a fulltime lawyer/ attorney that threathens everyone with over the slightest things. - No insurance, and god forbid other incentives. - They claim to be growing at 50-60% per year which is a big lie as the company AND it's customer base shrinks monthly! - The product is often released with bugs due to lack of testing before release causing mayhem and customer dissatisfaction almost everyday. ( code testing is for uni kids he says) .

1950s Cladding sales environment and techniques No sensitive 360 degree feedback here Here sales is warfare: the CEO is at war with you,the customers and prospects You will know the company script Each day you will be drilled at his sadomasochistic whim - and yes there is something very latent going on. It can be quite amusing, just don't let him know it Here the company and the man are one - you must become invisible to survive. But he will pay you - that's the bargain

You will learn nothing but how to obfuscate You will learn to ignore every issue and crow the slightest sign of any sunshine The existing customers are trapped with a powerful but cumbersome product The worst thing is that the fool owner is actually probably excellent as a programmer He just would be the most incompetent CEO from a marketing, sales, PR perspective you could ever meet - if you ever met him and you never will - he may well be no more than a very rudimentary AI program which can simulate something approaching a human via the phone. And his cruel and petty Don't you dare shine - you need to attribute every victory to him The more fawning you are for his advise the longer you will survive Initiative is not something he likes
