Odd/strict rules and policies
Barely any information during orientation
Benefits aren't good at all
No sick time
Rated work system that is out dated and flawed
Not climate controlled and gets very hot in the warehouse during the summer time
The small amount of info that they do give in orientation is not honest, when Senior Management tells me it's okay to step off the floor for bathroom and a drink as long as it's under 10 minutes, just to get scolded by same Senior management for taking 5 seconds to get a drink, seems like they're just trying to be your friend in orientation and that all goes down hill once you actually start working. They do not take doctors notes and do not give any sick time, so if you and/or your child gets sick; good luck. They will "expedite" attendance write ups if you call out multiple days in a row for being sick, though I've seen co workers call out/leave early every other week when work is slow and not even get talked to. They make you feel like you're in a box during your shift, don't look or breathe at your co workers otherwise "you're not working". When work is slow they will make you clean the warehouse which is fine if you want your hours but they do not offer VTO, and you cannot talk while cleaning either otherwise somehow they consider that not working either. They have a really odd point system, which is basically no point system at all; if you're late by one minute it's a full point if you call out it's a full point. First place I worked at that doesn't give quarter points, or half points based off the percentage of the shift you missed. They believe you should be able to predict any scheduled time missed, whether it's sickness, car trouble, or emergencies.
