All they are in it for is the money, they buy cheap food, staff are undertrained, poor pay, no supervisions or appraisals given. Upper management have no staff skills and don't interact with the residents. Wages are constantly wrong any misdemeanors are swept under the carpet and ignored, for the company its all about cutting corners and ignoring advice from NCC and CQC.
