Quick Hussle Job but feel used and abused

. Free to choose shift . Work is 70% Driving / 30% talking to Recipients . Helping people get their stuff

Cons

. Pay is garbage . Will tell try to say 700-1400 is obtainable but it’s not unless on nights and good luck getting that spot. . Miles and gas aren’t reimbursed . Low points in the winter and summer time so less work / less money

The new Orleans courier team is ran by unprofessionalism. The boss man & his wife take the packages they want. If you get on their bad side they will punish you by giving boxes to another courier. They will use you up then dispose of you after they are done.

I liked working there because the environment was fast paced, you aren't micromanaged, and you get to listen to music while you get your route done.

Cons

During your probationary period, 3 months, you are paid hourly and then after you are "supposed to" get guaranteed pay. Management pushes you to finish your route early therefore you are essentially getting a smaller paycheck then if you got your route done by the designated time and did your actual ten hours each shift. Then they say that if you do go and show me you can finish early on your route you will get guaranteed pay when you are due, unfortunately even after your probationary period is up they will still drag their feet on getting you guaranteed pay.
