Pros

Leaving was the best thing I did at this company. It brought relief, mental clarity, and better health.

Cons

Attention: Employees receive direct pressure to post positive reviews when ratings drop. Positive reviews do not reflect daily reality. This company promotes innovation and care. The internal culture tells a different story. Leadership lacks direction and accountability. Priorities shift without notice. Expectations change mid-stream. Reorganizations happen often. You carry expanding workloads with no roadmap ending. Training stays thin. Support stays scarce. You learn by failing in public. The environment is toxic. Fear drives behavior. Speaking up leads to reprimand or isolation. Silence earns approval. Feedback matters only when it protects leadership narratives. Decisions favor optics over outcomes. Burnout becomes a performance issue. Managers dismiss mental health concerns. Workloads make time off unrealistic, yet “unlimited PTO” appears in every recruiting pitch. The benefit functions as bait, not practice. Hard work brings no reward. Recognition is rare. Bonuses do not exist. Job descriptions do not match daily reality. Promotion is promised, then endlessly postponed with new excuses. Favoritism shapes opportunity. This workplace suits people who tolerate chaos, stress, and constant pressure. If you value clarity, support, and psychological safety, apply elsewhere.

Pros

It's an exciting place to work- everyone is laser focused on achieving our goals! We are a fully remote company, and for a startup, we really have our act together. The sales team is like a family- we are always collaborating and lifting each other up- it's a refreshing culture and I love doing my job. Honestly everyone that works here is really cool/easy to get along with/and whip smart!

Cons

They use a lot of slack channels, but that's really the only downside (remembering to check slack all day long!)

Pros

This is an exceptional environment for senior engineers who value ownership, impact, and technical excellence. The company operates with a strong focus on outcomes rather than process, trusting experienced engineers to define the right solutions and execute independently. There is real autonomy in how problems are approached, balanced with thoughtful collaboration and high engineering standards. As a senior ML engineer, I’ve had the opportunity to work on meaningful, production-critical systems end-to-end. The emphasis on building scalable, maintainable solutions over quick wins is genuine and consistently reinforced by leadership. The talent density is high, and collaboration across disciplines is strong. Feedback is constructive, expectations are clear, and impact is recognized. Despite the ambitious pace, the culture respects personal time and well-being, which makes sustained high performance possible. The work is challenging, rewarding, and clearly aligned with real-world impact.

Cons

This environment is best suited for engineers who are comfortable with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity. Senior contributors are expected to proactively shape their scope, identify opportunities, and drive initiatives forward. For those who thrive with hyper-structured roadmaps or narrowly defined responsibilities, this can feel like a stretch, though it is also what enables rapid growth and meaningful ownership.
