Pros

Steady income and ok experience for first job

Cons

Toxic environment, broken promises, have to force management to give yearly reviews. High turnover. Low pay. No respect for employees ( bursts of anger and passive aggressive attitude from management and owner) expected to be a team player by working more than 40 hour weeks (unpaid extra hours) terrible communication. Some departments managed by people who have no idea what's happening in that department.

Pros

This company has been a launchpad for my future, and I am grateful for the valuable experience that I gained during my time there. Artisans On Fire is a fast-paced work environment, which is precisely what I was looking for. During my interview I was told that a year at Artisans feels like 5, and this was true. The company pushed me towards being the best version of myself, which helped me grow both personally and professionally. I learned more within a year than I had 3 years prior. One of the best things about working at Artisans On Fire was the team. Each team member played a vital role in every project, and each member was incredibly talented. I was able to take a piece of everyone, which helped me grow as a person both in and out of work. I am still in touch with most colleagues, and I am thankful for the friendships that I made while working there. (Special note to the upper management. Lupo, Moni, Grace- tysm) I would also like to express my appreciation for the CEO, Dustin Iannotti. He gave me a lot of freedom and helped me learn a lot about myself. He recognized my strengths and helped me elevate my weaknesses. Even though I have moved on from the company, I continue to receive guidance and support from Dustin, which is a testament to his commitment to the personal and professional development of his team members. Overall, I have nothing but love for Artisans On Fire. This company provided me with a creative environment to thrive in, and I am genuinely thankful for the experience. I would highly recommend Artisans On Fire to anyone who is looking for a fast-paced and creative work environment where they can learn and grow. This place is a true launchpad to success.

Cons

As I reflect on my time at Artisans On Fire, I must acknowledge that while the company itself is exceptional, there were instances where certain employees were not well-suited for their roles. This led to a disproportionate amount of workload for upper management, who had to pull additional weight to compensate for the lack of effort from these employees. Given Artisans' fast-paced and dynamic work environment, employees are expected to be fully engaged and committed to their roles. While hard work is rewarded, a lack of passion and dedication can impede growth and progress both for the individual employee and the company as a whole. In essence, my "Con" about Artisans is not so much about the company itself, but rather the importance of being a strong team member that is fully aligned with the company's mission and vision. Be passionate and work hard👍

Pros

One of the things I loved most about working there was the amount of creative autonomy they gave me. I got to pitch ideas direct to clients and worked on some big productions. I had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented individuals who were always eager to share their expertise and ideas. We'd often bounce ideas off each other to deliver high-end work on little budgets and tight deadlines, which was both challenging and rewarding. The company invests in its employees which is rare unfortunately.

Cons

One thing that stood out to me was the company's hesitance to offer remote work options. I understand that they may have had some bad experiences in the past, but it doesn't seem fair to apply that belief to current employees.
