Let's keep it simple. Don't do it.

Pros

I honestly can't think of any pros other than what they promise you when you're signing up for the job. Once you start, you quickly see how it's really different.

Cons

I will try to keep this as short as I can. -You will be asked to buy things to use on the job, and you won't be reimbursed. This includes your gas. I was driving 15 minutes to office, then 25 minutes to my neighborhood, then 40 minutes back home every day. So I started to lose money. -I was losing money because it is very hard to make it out there. They say you will make betweek 15 to 30k on average but that was not going to happen. I was lucky if I got one sale a day because guess what?! People don't want to buy from you! I promise. And they will tell you no, but you will be told to go back and keep trying. I hated it. -It is 100% commissions, which is okay if you're making a lot of sales. BUT if you aren't, you'll be walking away with no money for the day even though you were walking around for 10 hours. -Let me elaborate on that. That's 10 hours of walking around in the heat, but you still have to meet at the office every morning, as well. So you're basically with this job for 12 hours a day and it's still 100% commissions? Also, since you're working so many hours and working six days a week, you can say goodbye to a social life. You will have no time to do anything other than on Sundays. -Some people will have no soliciting signs on their doors. You are told to act like you didn't see them. (This should be illegal) But hey, you know what? Those people won't care if you didn't see the signs or not. They will get angry with you, they will cuss at you, call the cops, pull guns, etc. People don't want people coming up to their doors uninvited . Overall, I couldn't do it for more than a week. After that I went back to my old job where I knew that if I showed up and did my work, I would be guaranteed a paycheck every two weeks to cover all of my expenses. I would have probably missed rent or a car payment with Aruza. Don't let it happen to you.

Pros

Decent money offered but don't expect to see what you were promised

Cons

Unorganized, no communication, constant drama, no advancement unless you are a male, you will not get benefits, you will not get overtime pay, your pay scale will change payday to payday, management is more worried about what employees are doing rather than giving good customer service, and constant changing of operations to suit owners needs

Pros

-excellent sales experience -aids a lot in future job search

Cons

Everything else: -100% Commission -Deceitful managment -Unrealistic projections for future -Extremely high turnover (about a third of hires quit after just a few weeks, and only about 10% decided to do it again despite bonuses and incentives) -rent, utilities, and nescessary equipment for job are on you to pay for -deceitful marketing: they say you'll make 20,000 for the summer but only about 6 out of almost 30 people on our team made over 6k, and much of that money is spent on gas and food to do the job.
