Pros

Great talent which eventually left because of harmful policies

Cons

1. Lack of Vision: One of the most noticeable shortcomings is the lack of a clear and inspiring vision for the company's future. This absence of direction has made it challenging for employees to align their efforts effectively. 2. Toxic Work Culture: The work culture leaves much to be desired. There is a pervasive sense of disconnection and a lack of cohesion among teams. The absence of a positive and collaborative atmosphere impacts motivation and job satisfaction. 3. Management Challenges: Management skills within the organization appear to be underdeveloped. The leadership often struggles with effective communication, decision-making, and employee engagement. This creates a sense of uncertainty among the staff. 4. Employee Development: Opportunities for professional growth and development are limited. The absence of clear career paths and support for skill enhancement has left many employees feeling stagnant in their roles. 5. Lack of Innovation: The company seems to be resistant to change and innovation. This stagnation hampers progress and limits the organization's ability to adapt to evolving market dynamics. 6. A lot of great talent left the company simply because of the work culture, stringent working culture, jail like monitoring, hire and fire culture.

Pros

Salary is good but they don’t pay the variable

Cons

Extremely poor culture. Hire and fire policy. Confused CXO’s, not clear about how they want to drive business. So much confusion in work environment that almost every next day seating arrangement changes for employees Dictator attitude of CEO. Avg duration of an employee here is around 4months as nobody wants to continue here. Management ensures that an employee is fired or forced to resign before he/she completes a year so that the company saves itself from paying the variable and the granted ESOPs doesn’t get vested. Advice to people looking to join- Pls connect with former employees and current employees before accepting the offer. 6 days working despite promised by HR of alternate Saturdays working. Pls note the pattern of those who have rated it 5, these are only current employees of a particular department whose HR has forced them to rate it 5. You’ll not find a former employee who has rated it 5.

Pros

Nothing as far as i can see.

Cons

Overall, there are several concerning aspects of the company that need improvement. Unhealthy Work Environment: The work culture at the company is toxic, with reports of managers contacting employees on sick leave or following accidents, pressuring them to return to the office. Lack of Inclusive Decision-Making: Decision-making primarily rests with the founders, sidelining input from relevant teams. Some engineering teams were even compelled to work six days a week without additional incentives, citing the early-stage startup nature as the rationale. Insensitive Remarks on Working Hours: The CEO has made insensitive comments about employees arriving after 11 AM, suggesting they have a lifestyle disorder requiring medical attention. Founders' Attitudes: The founders display egotistic behavior and appear disconnected from the workforce, often treating employees as mere laborers. There are instances where employees were asked to work on weekends and holidays. Limited Management Authority: Management appears to have minimal decision-making power, effectively serving as puppets under the control of the founders. This situation seems particularly pronounced within the Head of Engineering role. Lack of Recognition: Employees report a lack of appreciation for their hard work, which can be demoralizing. Superficial Promotions: Promotions seem to favor those who engage in excessive communication and send numerous emails, rather than recognizing those who genuinely put in hard work and effort. Pressure to Give High Ratings: HR department allegedly exerts pressure on employees to provide 5-star ratings on various platforms. High Turnover Rate: Experienced employees are reported to be leaving the company within months of joining, indicating significant issues with employee retention. Poor Work-Life Balance: There is a prevailing sense of no work-life balance, with employees feeling overworked. Unstable Employment: The company's hire and fire culture raises concerns about job security. These observations collectively suggest the need for substantial improvements in the company's culture, management structure, and employee engagement practices.
