Good people. Bad management.

Pros

There are some good benefits like summer Friday's and lifelong learning reimbursement. The people, outside of the senior leadership team, are some of the nicest and most genuine people I've interacted with at any company.

Cons

Senior leadership. They aren't looking out for their employees. The good benefits are lures for new employees, but once you're in the company they don't care about you. Transparency and openness are rewarded with cold shoulders from senior leadership and eventual layoffs if your thinking isn't in line with theirs. HR does not seem to be there to look out for the employees, they are there to look out for the senior leadership only. "Anonymous" reviews are requested, but rarely are anonymous with comments made by the CEO and COO repeatedly if they are given poor reviews.

Pros

Great people who work hard and get results in spite of everything.

Cons

Management seems distracted by whatever the shiny new thing is, which causes priorities to change constantly. Despite preaching “go slow to go fast”, urgency is manufactured for pet projects that don’t enhance the core product and don’t actually bring value to customers. Plus, they are investing large amounts of resources in expanding the product line with something customers have voiced no interest in. This dysfunction has resulted in bad financial numbers, which has only exacerbated an already-toxic workplace. C-level executives are passive-aggressive in their communication, and play mind games with employees.

Pros

Work life balance is amazing and so are the people that are in each department. All employees seem to have the will to make something great.

Cons

There is a sole focus on financial metrics, This draws attention away from keeping customers (High Churn Rate) and employees happy (High turnover and in some instances employees are laid off without a performance plan so they can rehire a person at a lower salary).
