Pros
I’ve been with Asembia for nine years, and my experience has been positive. Throughout my time here, I’ve genuinely enjoyed the work I do, the clients I support, and most importantly, the team I collaborate with every day. Expectations from both the company and the clients are clear, and I take pride in consistently meeting them. The environment is engaging and dynamic, and I can honestly say coming to work is not a chore. I am happy here and never bored.
One of the aspects I appreciate most is the level of autonomy I’m given. I am trusted to manage my responsibilities without micromanagement, which allows me to stay productive and motivated. At the same time, my manager strikes the perfect balance. He is approachable, supportive, and readily available whenever guidance is needed without being overbearing.
Asembia/ASPN Pharmacies also provides meaningful opportunities for growth. Over the past nine years, I’ve been promoted three times, allowing me to steadily climb the corporate ladder. This progression reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing hard work and developing talent from within.
There is also something special about working for a private and family owned business. My heart genuinely smiles when the patriarch is onsite and casually stops by for a quick salty snack. It creates a sense of connection and culture that you do not always find elsewhere. As an added bonus, the corporate office is conveniently located near one of the best malls in New Jersey, which is always a plus.
Overall, ASPN Pharmacies has provided me with a fulfilling career path, a supportive leadership structure, and a collaborative team environment. It is a place where you can grow, stay challenged, and truly enjoy the work you do. Here is to retiring from Asembia in another ten years.
Cons
While every role has its challenges I’ve consistently been able to turn those experiences into opportunities for growth and self improvement. I have found the right mindset and had to make some changes that worked to my benefit. Be patient and remain kind.
