I came happy to be there at first then things got worse.
They expect you to clean and deep clean as well as prep meals. On top of that taking care of residents all on your own. If you forget to do one thing they flip out, I choose resident care over everything and that wasn’t good enough. Other staff would leave res in dirty depends for hours before I came on shift and had to get them changed and cleaned up, or were to lazy to clean up and would leave some res in their day clothes, or just leave used depends all over the res room and admin would just turn a blind eye and wouldn’t get any write ups but if you forgot one shirt in the laundry room then boom your in trouble. This place like many others need help because nursing is crazy. The drama is crazy. I suggest working in fast pace skilled nursing instead of being a cook, maid and some how a medtech nurse all on your own with 15 residents. I left due to bad depression and anxiety that was worsened by the fear of waking up to horrible text messages from other coworkers.
