Most colleagues are nice and work is interesting.

Cons

Need to be a self-starter. Senior male staff in the centre outside the U.S. are terrible-bullying younger female staff (eg passive aggressive comments, sabotage of work, etc) and getting away with it. HR does nothing to address these issues and blames the victims instead
