      Pros

      Excellent working life. Extremely laid back. Strong focus on training and education. Good learning experience initially.

      Cons

      Too slow to get anything done. Too much politics. Not enough focus on the "right" technology areas. Very clicky environment. Your opinion is valid but your ideas will go no where. Wages aren't great and takes forever to become senior if you're not hired as a senior. Slow title progression.

      Pros

      I would highly recommend HEAnet as a place to work. Every Friday they do short tech talks, allowing you to learn about what other teams are doing. The staff are friendly and easy to approach if you have any questions. The office is located in the IFSC with plenty of choice for lunch or if you need to head up town at lunch time, a Luas stop is a minute walk away.

      Cons

      None that I can think of. My time at HEAnet was positive.
