Pros

Aspermont is a great media company who offer huge amounts of flexibility to their employees with a hybrid working set up. You will be treated with respect and as an adult who will manage their workload alongside their personal commitments, so the work life balance is good. Great global teams, lots of diversity and inclusivity, great people to work with. You are empowered to be innovative as you ride the wave of change within this fast paced and agile business. Recognition and role development opportunities for key performers.

Cons

The time differences between the global teams can be tricky, so you have to be flexible with your working hours, but there is a nice give and take approach. As the business is an SME within a niche market we have to be responsive to changing needs and external factors, with lean teams this can sometimes be difficult to manage the changing priorities or new projects. Career pathways are vague due to being an SME, but good performance is always recognised.

Positive overall, but look out for yourself.

Pros

-Excellent people and team culture (especially in Australia) - Very flexible working options (WFH suits most of the Sales team) - A great set of publications/reports and services. Editorial do a great job. - A recently refurbished Perth office was a surprise. - If you treat Aspermont as a stepping stone in your career, you'll most likely be better off overall.

Cons

-Below market salary range. Management would rather let you go, than match it competitively. - No opportunity for any advancement or changing fields within the business. Eg; if you're in Subscriptions, you're going to stay in Subscriptions indefinitely. - A culmination of the above makes you feel very undervalued, hence why the moderate turnover rate.
