Traumatising Firing Procedures

Pros

-Best work culture, hybrid work mode, nice cultural activities, friendly HR partners, top-notch infrastructure, food coupons, team outing, good salary and well-experienced managers (professional and friendly).

Cons

The way they implement PIP in the Kochi office is a violation of Human Rights: -You will be put on PIP (even if your performance is great) due to your HR partner's firing targets (which is deemed acceptable for the existence of the organization to cut expenses). -But, HR will inform you that you are on PIP just because you are horrible at performance and have become a burden to both your team and the company. -The HR team will motivate you to do your best in PIP tasks even though they have already confirmed your firing procedures (no matter how you perform, they know that you will be fired, but still they'll make you work 12+ hours a day, from Sun to Sat). -You will give your 200% output in the PIP tasks, but they will humiliate you in front of Senior Managers, Team Leads, HR, and your Mentor by stating that you are horrible at even basic English, don't know the basics of programming, and can't even survive in the IT field. -HR will inform you that you'll get 2 months in PIP, but after a couple of weeks, they'll convert your standup call to a firing meeting without even informing you. -They have also misinformed employees that they'll be getting just a 2-week PIP and then get back into the organization, but they extended it each week, and will convert it to 2.5 months for no reason (these employees lost their 2.5 months of job hunting period and were given less than 1 month of notice period for job hunting). -Most of the people undergoing PIP have lost weight because of the stress and lies the HR department insists on them. They'll make the employees sign all 15 pages of the Employee Agreement (which states that you will get a 3-month notice period if you are fired). But they will give just a 1-month notice period and will revoke it after a couple of weeks without any prior information. -They won't even provide your experience certificates if you decide to resign due to unethical PIP procedures. -According to 6 of my peers who got into PIP, most of them got into depression, anxiety, had suicide attempts, and lost their self-esteem to continue in the IT field (some of them have left the IT sector). -Many employees in the Kochi office have experienced discrimination from their mentors and managers who are based in Chennai and were humiliated on the basis of their qualifications, colleges, and lack of experience. -Most of the employees who get into this mental torturing consider it as the worst days in their whole life. -HR's wont even consider your evidences that you have to state that you completed all the tasks on time. -There was an incident when an employee was in PIP, and the whole team (including a 10+ year experienced Team Lead) supported the employee because they didn't want her to resign. The PIP Mentor from the Chennai office couldn't even find a single mistake in the tasks done by the employee. And they were like, "this employee has done all the tasks on time, but the code doesn't have code quality."

Pros

This is my own experience feedback based on my tenure @ aspire for more than 3 years. You have to ensure that you are in a right project after you received offer. start from salary Salary:You will get your desired package only if you join asap or else you can't demand more. This rule applicable to all companies. Transport:Air conditioned A/C buses& Shuttles are available. But you might feel later rather going ofc bus we can go by MTC. Cafeteria:You can't expect more .So leave it. Project:Make sure you got a right project.Better discuss with your supervisor or else you might get caught on some unwanted project. HR:They are easily accessible. But some times they might test your patience. Policy:Read each and every lines of documents before accepting the offer. Its very very important. TechnlogyWise:You have a room to learn new cutting edge technologies only if you are a fresher. Projects:I believe that this company depends on due to few long term projects. Company:There are many +ve factors are like contributing in to social activities, play store..many more. Last but not least :If you are coming from a top MNC and joining as a experienced ,i am sure you may feel awkward. So,think thrice before joining this concern.
