Pros

Assima was recently purchased by PartnerOne equity investment firm. Pre lay off. Great benefits, amazing co-workers, great culture, met salary expectations, bonuses. A great COO and leader of the US entity.

Cons

The entire company but 5 people (who’s role now is salvaging the few remaining clients we had) the rest were laid off by an automated voice message from the new owners HR department. There was no severance package or healthcare benefits extension. There were employees who had been at the company for over 15 years. They never gave anyone an opportunity to thank each other for our support and years of service. It was unreal.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We realize that acquisitions are difficult and there are always things that could be done better. As it is often the case, there were a lot of organizational changes made after the acquisition. That being said, we want to clarify that no employee was ever laid off by automated recordings. Assima and PartnerOne want to emphasize the human element to our work, and our employees are our most important assets. Kindly email hr@assima.net if you feel like you want to discuss this matter in greater detail. Many thanks for your review!

Pros

Very laid back. You manage your own time. No managers standing over you.

Cons

Please be aware! This company is not stable! If you are employed, don't leave a stable company for a company that only has 6-10 employees . They are short staff so there's no one to train. The list goes on and on. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!! Poorly managed company.

Pros

Worked with many talented and inspirational people over the 20 years I was involved. Assima acquired DACG in 2005 and we became Assima. Made many friends and contacts who will always value.

Cons

Acquired by Partner One Capitol in Jan 2019 who immediately made most of the operational staff redundant.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We realize that acquisitions are difficult and there are always things that could be done better. As it is often the case, there were a lot of organizational changes made after the acquisition. That being said, we do value very much the feedback we can get from anyone in the team. This is part of the culture that we've been working hard to implement and maintain across all the organization. Our employees are our greatest asset and we appreciate the feedback and the opportunity for improvement!
