Pros

not many. Mostly good co-workers. Southern stations are ok

Cons

Company prides itself on being a "family", by family they mean incredibly nepotistic. -unnecessary middle management, run by family members. -Management plays favourites with staff and stations -Micromanagement of employees out of control -staff is unsupported by company, very little mental health support. -New employees are often lied to or tricked by higher ups into doing things they are uncomfortable with. Usually against union agreements. -Management refuses to listen to staffs concerns or suggestions

Pros

-Shifts -OT is double time -Fun coworkers -Lots of stations spread over the province -Stations have gyms

Cons

-Terrible micromanaging supervisors/ operations -Will deny anything that will make the staff happy, even if it doesn't cost them anything -Manipulate the union agreement to suit them -Deny meals/OT and expenses -Will redeploy you to stations you didn't agree to work at -Constantly dropping trucks -Unwilling to help -Poor mental health supports -Old run, run down, falling apart ambulances -Flex shifts, only pay for 10 out of 24 hours at full pay -Will put virtually untrained casuals on trucks together
