Pros

Great benefits, fun company parties, strong individual development teams (ACS, AST, SV particularly) and individual team management.

Cons

Most development teams try to run themselves isolated from the company due to poor upper management practices, and extreme lack of IT support. All hands meetings obfuscate company issues - Upper management will show profit while simultaneously laying off dozens of employees in secret. HR doesn't fire employees who commit sexual harassment, and is not even discrete that they are clearly only there to protect the company. Acts like a small startup pressuring developers to work overtime regularly, but also tries to pretend its a large corporate business with stricter policies each year.

Thank you for your feedback and years of service supporting our customers. Working with the customers we do is a privilege and an honor. We have built a company culture where employees can grow, learn and thrive. It’s of the upmost importance to us that we maintain this environment through growth and change. As our customers' needs change, contracts come to a close and new ones start; it’s part of the natural ebb and flow of the business. It is our philosophy to not try and fit people into roles that aren’t well suited to them as it isn't fair to the employee, the customer, or our teams. In the unfortunate case where we do have to let someone go, we take great pride in offering a generous severance package that includes compensation, benefit conversion options and outplacement services. AIS has zero tolerance for discrimination or unfair treatment of any kind. Every employee is required to take an annual training that reinforces that any form of harassment is not tolerated and provides clear direction on how to report any instances that are witnessed; it is every employee's responsibility to do so. As you know well, our customers have a very important mission that is not bound to an average workday. Our job is to support their mission on their timeline – whenever it is needed. For those cases, we need to be agile and flex to those occasions. That is why when overtime is needed to support our customers, engineers and technical staff are compensated for the extra time worked. If you would like to further discuss your thoughts or concerns, you can reach out to me directly at any time. Charles Green CEO

Pros

Lots of different projects to work on.

Cons

Terrible management. They don’t live up to their own stated values. 90% of the best technical employees have left over the last 18 months.

Pros

Great people and work environment. Always felt welcome to ask questions.

Cons

Work was a bit slow at times. Probably due to just being an intern.
