Toxic leadership

Pros

A handful of dedicated employees who make the work meaningful and mean well.

Cons

Toxic management culture: Senior leaders foster a culture of fear rather than collaboration. Speaking up about issues or offering suggestions for improvement is met with hostility or ignored completely. No genuine change: The company talks a lot about transformation and inclusion, but in reality, nothing changes. Feedback loops and “listening sessions” are just for show. Hostile to flexible working: Despite promoting “work-life balance” publicly, flexible or remote working is looked down upon and often penalized. Managers equate visibility with productivity. Lack of wellbeing support: The CEO openly disregards mental health and employee wellbeing, creating a culture where burnout is normalized. HR appears indifferent to staff needs and rarely follows through on commitments to support employee welfare. Low morale and high turnover: Talented people leave quickly, and those who stay often do so out of fear or lack of better options.
